Wednesday Café

- for all!

From the 5th March onwards, the farm will be open on Wednesdays, in term time, from 10am until 2pm.

Entrance is free, but donations are very welcome!

There will be snacks and light lunches available, or you can bring a picnic. There will be activities for young children, a seasonal art or craft to try, and at 11am, a farm tour:

Meet the friendly sheep, the kune-kune pig, the chickens and ducks, and see if you can spot the farm rabbits! Children can learn how the animals live, feed them, and collect eggs. There may be lambs and chicks in the spring!

Follow the wildlife trail round the farm, perhaps hunting for mini-beasts, peering in the ponds for frogs, listening for birdsong, and gathering together for stories under the old chestnut tree or in the circular pleasure garden.

What we see will depend on the time of year.

Find out how vegetables grow and taste them; feel the warmth in the polytunnel; and meet the recycled scarecrow!

Pop in for a cup of tea – or stay for the whole morning! Time to play, learn and relax, meet old friends, and make new ones!
