Yoga and Massage 3

1 – 3 October • £126

Iyengar Yoga will be taught in a way that is suited to the beginner and the more experienced practitioner. The classes will focus on postures to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. The weekend will also include sessions on giving and receiving a relaxing and toning massage, covering different areas of the body.

On Saturday there will be an early morning Pranayama (breath control) class, then following breakfast, a two hour asana (postures) class, and a massage class. After lunch the options are to relax at the farm, or go on a led walk in the local countryside. In the late afternoon there is a choice between a restorative asana session, or a massage class. A relaxation session in the evening should ensure a peaceful sleep.

On Sunday morning the programme will be as Saturday, with a late lunch, and departures during the afternoon from about 2.30pm.

Meals are vegetarian, all freshly prepared, and delicious!

Autumn Activities

22 – 24 October • Adult £126 Child • £75

As the season turns and nights draw in, we mark the change by getting together to make and do autumn things. We shall carve and hollow pumpkins and fill them with light, decorate little lanterns to shine brightly and drive away the darkness, harvest apples and turn them into golden juice, light fires and make fire sculptures to remind us of the sun, create shadow plays that tell stories in silhouette, build campfires and tell stories that warm the heart, and play autumn games that fan the flames of human imagination.

A weekend for all ages to get together and be imaginative, in autumn!
