- Fri 21 – Sun 23 July
- Claire Parnell, Matt Holland, and friends
If you like to run a little or a lot, or would like to start doing either; and if you want to become or stay supple and strong in body and mind through yoga; and if you’d like to do both with like-minded people and have good food, good talk, maybe even a sauna and massage too, then this is a weekend for you!
The main focus of the weekend is in the title: yoga & running! We’ll talk about both, get guidance on both, and, of course, do plenty of both.
On Friday evening, we’ll meet, eat, greet, and talk about running and yoga.
On Saturday morning, there’ll be a choice of runs to suit either newcomers to running and/or more experienced runners.
In the afternoon, there’ll be specific yoga classes that stretch and relax the bits that runners most need to stretch and loosen.
Of course, there will be fabulous healthy meals; the sauna will be in action; and there may be an individual massage service too!
Throughout the weekend, more running and yoga will be possible; and there will be talks and sessions to cover running techniques, reasons for change or for carrying on as you are, and strength work and why this is important.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and get answers, both about running and yoga, from Claire, who is an experience Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher, and a GB Duathlete (see Claire on Facebook). As for Matt, he simply likes running, the thoughts and feelings that come when the body is in motion, and especially parkrun, which, he thinks, ticks all the key health boxes.Book July Yoga & Running
