Yoga Well–being Bank Holiday Weekend

Yoga, Massage, Meditation, Walking, Running, Volleyball, Talking, Singing… this long Bank Holiday weekend is an opportunity to take part in yoga classes, try new kinds of exercise, play games, have fun, and RELAX. There’ll be a full programme of activities – from one or two daily yoga classes, therapeutic massage workshops, and meditation instruction in the Hayloft, to Circle Dance in the farmyard, volleyball in the front garden, table tennis in the barn, a walk on the Wiltshire Downs, a run in lovely Lydiard Park, or mentally and vocally–challenging chats and sing–song sessions round the campfire. There will also be opportunities to book an individual massage.
Meals will be an important part of the weekend – plenty of salads, tasty bakes, home–made bread, delicious desserts – all good healthy stuff, but with just a touch of indulgence too!
Group size: up to about 24.
The weekend begins with introductions on Friday evening, and ends 4pm on Monday.

Mosaic–Making Craft Weekend

Create a mosaic by recycling old crockery into beautiful panels. Learn how to cut, lay and grout, and enjoy the delights of deliberately smashing china! Vitreous glass tiles, mirrors and nuggets will also be available and please bring your own broken or chipped china to incorporate.
Vicky is a multi–talented craftswoman with many years of teaching experience.

Jewellery–Making Course

Immerse yourself in learning jewellery–making skills, using beautiful beads, coloured wires, slate, and ribbons, to create jewellery – brooches, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Techniques will include: viking knitting, crocheting with wire, and embroidered beading.
Suitable for beginners and improvers!
There will be an extra cost of between £5–15 depending on materials used.
The weekend begins on Friday evening and finishes at about 4pm on the Sunday.
Mary Maguire is author of many craft books, including Wonderful Wire: Projects to Make from Wire and Glass (Collins & Brown, 2003) and Wirework (Lorenz Books, 1996).
